Bible Text: Genesis 6–9
Today we will learn a story many people know — Noah’s Ark.
It is not just a story about animals and a big boat.
It is a story about obedience, faith, and God’s care.
God Saw a Problem
Long ago, the world was full of sin and violence.
People were not listening to God.
But God saw one man who was different.
“Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9)
Lesson:
Even when others do wrong, God notices those who try to do what is right.
God Gave Noah a Big Instruction
God told Noah to build a huge boat called an ark.
It had never rained like that before, and people probably laughed at him.
But Noah believed God.
“Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” (Genesis 6:22)
Lesson:
Obeying God is not always easy, but it is always right.
God Protected Noah and His Family
God sent animals into the ark — two by two.
When the rain came, God closed the door Himself.
Inside the ark, Noah and his family were safe.
Lesson:
When we trust and obey God, He protects and cares for us.
God Remembered Noah
After many days, the rain stopped.
The waters went down, and the ark rested on dry land.
God placed a rainbow in the sky as a promise.
“I set my rainbow in the clouds.” (Genesis 9:13)
Lesson:
God always keeps His promises.
Conclusion
The story of Noah’s Ark teaches us three simple truths:
1. God wants us to walk with Him
2. God blesses obedience
3. God keeps His promises
Just like Noah trusted God, we can trust Him too.
Closing Prayer
Dear God, thank You for loving us and guiding us.
Help us to obey You and trust You, just like Noah did.
Amen.
